Hello Hi, My name is Nikita and I am a qualified makeup and Special effects artist bringing your books to life through makeup artistry and what is now known as BookLooks. I have always had a passion for reading and collecting books that I love and also a love for all things beauty. I decided to combine my love for both and so Blushin’ Books was born. I create all types of bookish content and love nothing more than curling up with a good book, From the very first page my creative mind starts to generate images and swirls of patterns that I then incorporate into a one of a kind BookLook using props and music at my disposable to give books the most authentic and original content on Social Media. I love creating makeup reveals inspired by the books theme and aesthetic making sure to capture every attention to detail.

I have been a qualified MUA for over 10 years and love what I do immensely. I am South African and Portuguese and currently reside in sunny South Africa. I am a hopeless romantic and I am always up for a new adventure especially when that adventure is between the pages of a book.
